No account, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. The light or dark theme you pick is remembered in your own browser and never sent to us. The host, Vercel Inc., keeps technical logs of requests (IP address, page, time) to run and protect the service.

The playground: what we collect and why

• Your account — your email address, and a name if you give one. Used to sign you in and to tie your purchases to you. Basis: the contract.
• Sessions — a session cookie (strictly necessary, so no consent banner), and with each session the IP address and browser it was opened from, to keep accounts secure. Basis: legitimate interest.
• Purchases — what you bought, when, for how much, and Stripe's reference for the payment. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. Basis: the contract, and our legal duty to keep accounting records.
• Classes — for a teacher, the classes they create. For a student, only a name they choose within the class (a first name or a nickname is enough — there is no email address), a generated sign-in code stored only as a hash, the class they belong to and when they joined. Basis: the contract with the teacher or school, which is responsible for any consent required for its students.
• Security records — short-lived counters used to limit repeated sign-in emails and attempts to join or sign in to a class. Basis: legitimate interest.

What stays in your browser

Your vehicles, programs, missions, flights and settings are saved in your browser's own storage and are not uploaded. A link you share carries the flight in the part of the address after #, which browsers do not send to servers.

To fetch live weather, the playground asks Open-Meteo directly from your browser for the forecast at the launch site you chose. Place searches go through our server to the OpenStreetMap geocoders Photon and Nominatim, without anything that identifies you; if our server cannot be reached, your browser asks Photon or Open-Meteo directly.

Who processes it for us

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the playground and its database.
• Brevo (France) — sends the sign-in emails.
• Vercel Inc. — hosts this site.
• Stripe — takes payments, as an independent controller for the payment itself.

Cloudflare, Vercel and Stripe are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• An account: until you ask us to delete it.
• A student account: until the teacher removes the student or deletes the class.
• Sessions: until they expire or you sign out.
• Purchase records: ten years, as French accounting law requires.
• Security counters: minutes.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, a copy in a portable format, or restriction, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to emeric.daumarie00@gmail.com; we answer within a month. You may also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or to the data protection authority where you live.
